Yota Sato becomes new WBC superflyweight champion
Yota Sato, from Japan , conquered the WBC superflyweight championship by unanimous decision over Thai Suriyan Sor Rungvisai in Tokyo, Japan.
A very exciting match, as Sato knocked down former champion Suriyan twice in the third round, but the Thai warrior fought with the heart of a lion to win 3 of the last 4 rounds.
The scores were 114-112 twice (Marty Sammon, California and Junbae Lim, Korea) and 116-110 Rey Danseco, Phillipines. WBC Supervisor was Frank Quill.
The Open Scoring Rule once again proved to be of great interest for the audience, but specially for both corners and the last 4 rounds were dramatic with the fight being at stake.

Erik Morales vs Danny Garcia fight overview
Erik "El Terrible" Morales is timeless. Seems that way, at least. Though he's not the oldest prize fighter in boxing - at 35, he's the same age as Floyd Mayweather, and three years younger than Juan Manuel Marquez - Morales' permanent look of grim resolve and unbreakable chin give him the air of a grand old man, one who ceased to be surprised a long time ago. But in boxing, the old men always break sooner or later. And the young men are the ones that do the breaking.
